LifeSource is involved in mission projects in cultures around the world. We partner with other churches and ministries through prayer, finances and service. Our priority is to equip and empower each individual to practice a lifestyle that presents a real-life representation of the Kingdom of God. There are mission / outreach opportunities presented throughout the year for all experience levels.

How to put this into practice in your life:
- Volunteer locally, with LifeSource or another group in our area. For more about how you can partner with LifeSource attend The Journey class.

- Partner with one of our teams and mission partners with prayer and/or financial support. (You can designate which mission partner you are supporting in the giving process.)
Alaska Missions meets the needs to break down walls, bringing people from apathy to curiosity about Christ, to find HIM irresistible!
Throughout the year, they have a variety of ministry projects: construction teams, sports clinics, and service projects at Iditarod and Salmon Frenzy. Salmon Frenzy teams host service projects for Alaskan residents camping out on the Cook Inlet beaches at the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Thousands of Alaskans are dip-netting sockeye salmon as an annual family event. The ministry approach is gentle servant-hood and need-meeting ... Share Christ in personal and relational ways. They engage the public in this secular forum through servant evangelism. This is "Beach Reach" Alaskan style!
Cara Jones with Living Alternatives in Lindale, Texas
Living Alternatives offers hope and healing to young women experiencing unplanned pregnancy. Cara's mission is to "serve others with compassion and love.” Because she was adopted as a baby, it is also a beautiful reminder of the grace of God. "I am still in awe that this is my story. It's about redemption and healing for all of us." Fatherheart Maternity Home provides loving house parents and staff that support them emotionally and spiritually with compassion, care, counsel, and prayer.
About Living Alternatives: Beginning as an outreach to those experiencing unplanned pregnancy, they have grown into an organization made of distinct areas of ministry which facilitates forming loving families and rebuilding broken families through compassion, care, and counsel. Through Bible study, mentoring, job coaching, and a job and computer skills training program, these women will grow in their confidence, computer and job skill levels, and most importantly, in their relationship with Christ. When women fully embrace their position as daughters of the King, the impact reaches their families as well as the greater community.
We have our “For the One Partnership.” We all remember the story of the shepherd who left his flock of sheep to search for the missing lamb. That little lamb was valuable and worth the sacrifice. At CWJC Lindale, we value each student, no matter their background or history. We desire that each one “be the one” that the Great Shepherd searched for and was found. To do that, we must have the resources necessary to sustain the ministry. “For the One” is a giving program made up of businesses, individuals, churches and ministries who pledge to give $100 per month to CWJC to cover operating costs. But first, we want to be available to churches as a resource to send people who may need our services: someone in need of a job or job skills, someone in need of fellowship or community, someone in need of a mentor or for discipleship. Secondly, we are looking for volunteers and their talents: individuals who would like to invest in another as a personal mentor; to provide one meal per semester for our students and staff; those who have special skills for our Heart & Hand Marketplace.

Building a Gateway of Joy in Bucharest, Romania
Debra works alongside Romanians who are caring for orphaned and abandoned children and empowers them to disciple and impact each life. She also works with local organizations to support and encourage the least-reached and least-loved.
The Bucharest City Team believes that God is transforming Romania into a Gateway of Joy. They desire that each team member be integrated into a grace-filled community and fully devoted to this vision as God transforms lives day by day through the Gospel. They are working to mobilize the Romanian church into action and ultimately working towards unification among churches to make Bucharest a light in Europe.
I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Bernabe Latin America Ministries in Reynosa, Mexico
Barri and Annemarie are the directors/founders of Bernabe Latin American Ministries; a Christian organization who's purpose is to work alongside of ministers and ministries, to encourage and help them in whatever way they can. This vision has caused them to be involved in church planting, leadership training, Bible school teaching, evangelism and more. The Straits are currently ministering in Reynosa and the surrounding areas, in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas (which borders South Texas). They are pastoring two churches in the area and training up leaders for future ministry.
